For tradespeople

Does it cost anything to apply?: No. Applying on SkaiApply is free for tradespeople — and it always will be. If anyone asks you for money to apply, interview, or start work, it isn't us; report the job.
How do I apply to a job?: Open any listing under Find work, hit Apply, and answer any screening questions the employer added. You can track every application, message employers, and confirm interviews from your Applications page after signing in.
How do job alerts work?: Create an alert from the Alerts tab (choose a trade, state, or keyword) and we email you a daily digest of new matching jobs. You can pause or delete alerts anytime.
Can employers find me?: Only if you opt in. Turn on “searchable” in your profile and employers can discover you in talent search — your contact details stay private until you choose to engage.
How do I download or delete my data?: Settings → Export data gives you a full JSON copy. Deleting your account is in the same place — it removes your profile, applications, and messages permanently.

How do I post a job?: Create an employer account and post from Post a job. Add screening questions to filter applicants automatically, and use AI drafting to write the description for you.
What does the AI actually do?: It helps you draft job descriptions, scores incoming applications against your requirements, and recommends matching candidates. Every score is advisory — hiring decisions are always yours, and candidates are never auto-rejected by AI.
How do interviews work?: Propose a time from an applicant's page. The candidate confirms or declines, and the application stage updates automatically — no email tennis.
How do I get a verified badge?: Submit your business for verification from your dashboard. Our team reviews it and the badge appears on your company page and job listings.

What does SkaiApply cost?: Tradespeople never pay. Employers start free (one active job) with paid plans for more — see Pricing for current tiers and what each unlocks.
How do I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel?: Plan changes are managed from your employer Billing settings. Subscriptions are month-to-month — cancel anytime and your plan runs to the end of the paid period.

I think a job posting is a scam. What do I do?: Use “Report this job” on the listing — no account needed. Our team reviews every report and pulls listings that break the rules. Read Spotting job scams for the warning signs.
What will SkaiApply never ask me for?: Money to apply or get hired, bank details or SSN before a real written offer, or payment in gift cards or crypto. Ever.
